Our SandCastles Model of Support
Our Commitment to Confidentiality to our Families
It is a privilege to hear others share their grief. With that privilege comes much responsibility. Staff, volunteers, and participants hold each others’ stories in sacred trust and all information shared is strictly confidential. Your story may be told by you to anyone you choose as often as you choose, but we will not share your stories with others without your permission. However, we will break confidentiality if we are concerned for safety, including the following reasons:
- If anyone were to hurt themselves
- If anyone was/is hurting you
- If you have/will hurt someone else.
