The health and safety of our SandCastles families, volunteers, community, and employees are our highest priority. We want to assure you that as more information about the coronavirus (COVID-19) becomes available, we will continue to monitor developments and take steps that promote the well-being of our community.
Following the guidance of Henry Ford Health System and the direction of the State government, we have made the difficult decision to suspend all face-to-face grief support meetings until further notice. Our staff will continue to provide support remotely through bi-weekly virtual groups, family night activities, phone intake appointments and other calls.
We are prepared to navigate through these challenging circumstances with you and will keep you informed of any additional steps that we take in the weeks to come. We encourage our enrolled families and volunteers to check their emails regularly for program offerings and updates. We want to thank you for your understanding.
